    Below strings will help us identify the commits/rollbacks and dummy commits/rollbacks in the trace file, these strings are appended below the sql query . So we can easily identify after which query commits/rollbacks happened from application.

    XCTEND rlbk=0, rd_only=1 -- dummy commit
    XCTEND rlbk=0, rd_only=0 –commit
    XCTEND rlbk=1, rd_only=1 -- dummy rollback
    XCTEND rlbk=1, rd_only=0 –Rollback

    Can you please provide the steps to take the sqltrace from oracle for any applicaion..?

    Hi ,

    you can enable trace in database by firing the below command

    alter system set sql_trace = true;

    now do the particular transaction in exclusive mode , check in the user_dump_destination path , latest trc files will get generated .

    These trc files can be converted to text files by using below command

    tkprof file.trc file.text sys=no explain=system/manager
